The original 2001 'Research Agenda for the Semantic Grid' report was republished as two separate documents, available in PDF format:

These documents appear as chapters in the book Grid Computing: Making The Global Infrastructure a Reality by Fran Berman, Anthony J.G. Hey and Geoffrey Fox. Hardcover: 1080 pages, Publisher: John Wiley & Sons; (April 8, 2003), ISBN: 0470853190. See it on Amazon. The book contains the chapter "The Semantic Grid: A Future e-Science Infrastructure" on pages 437-470, and "The Evolution of the Grid" on pages 65-100.

The original (December 2001) report is available in the UK e-Science Technical Report Series. There are local copies in in PDF, HTML or a ZIP archive of the HTML version. The full citation for the original report is:
