• The report "The Semantic Grid: will Semantic Web and Grid go hand in hand?" (PDF) by Marije Geldof for the Grid technologies unit of the European Commission discusses the current status and future vision on the Semantic Grid, including applications, industrial participation, potential benefits, the necessary cooperation between the different fields, critical issues and future challenges.

The original 2001 'Research Agenda for the Semantic Grid' report was republished as two separate documents, available in PDF format:

These documents appear as chapters in the book Grid Computing: Making The Global Infrastructure a Reality by Fran Berman, Anthony J.G. Hey and Geoffrey Fox.
